I can't wait to step on the field: Yuvraj Singh
Comeback hero Yuvraj Singh feels like a "debutant" as he gears for the 'second innings' of his international career through the T20 format after winning his battle against a rare germ-cell cancer.
Yuvraj Singh was recalled into the Indian squad within months of recovering from a cancer, when he was picked for World T20 championships in Sri Lanka as well as the preceding two-match T20 series against New Zealand.
Yuvraj Singh said,
"Terming the rigours of T20 tourney as ideal for his body at the moment, I am not yet ready for 50-over or Test cricket. The demands of the longer format are much more rigorous on the body."

Indian Premier League, commissioner Rajeev Shukla hailed the comeback of Yuvraj Singh into the national side for the upcoming World Twenty20 championship in Sri Lanka.
The 2011 World Cup's Man-of-the-Tournament had earlier said that "playing for India is going to be a huge challenge for me because the body has been under a lot of shock which nobody can understand except me".
Sourav Ganguly said,
Yuvraj has not played competitive cricket since India's World Cup triumph in April last year after he was diagnosed with a rare germ cell cancer.
"I am a bit surprised. I just wish he physically stays well because you know he has come out of a...what can I say, a big disappointment. He has recovered, which is the best thing that can happen, but it has not been a long time and I wish and pray he sustains," an apprehensive Ganguly told reporters during the sidelines of a function.
